Le materiel nécessaire :
- récupération d’une boîte de petit déjeuner (carton)/ recycling of a breakfast cereal or snacks carton box
- ficelle / string
- ciseaux / scissors
- crayon ou feutre / pencil or marker
- scotch ou colle / scotch tape or glue
- pailles / straws
Commencer par dessiner la forme en suivant le tour de la main. Autant demander à l’enfant d’utiliser sa propre main…
Begin by drawing the shape by running the pencil around the hand. Let the child use his or her own hand as much as possible…
Découper les formes des mains en se protégeant evidemment !
Cut out the hand’s shape from the carton while protecting oneself obviously!

Plier suivant les articulations … / Fold the carton fingers by following the articulations
Decouper une paille en petit bout. Nous allons utiliser ces petits morceaux pour faire passer la ficelle par la suite. / Cut a straw into small sections. We will use these little pieces to let the string pass through next.
Coller un petit bout de paille entre les articulations pour faire coulisser par la suite la ficelle jusqu’au doigts./ Stick a small straw section between the articulations to let the string slide up to the fingers after.
C’est un tres bon exercice de motricité pour les enfants …/ It is a actually a very good motricty excercise for the children…
Une fois les ficelles passees dans les pailles il faut fixer l’extremité./ One needs to fix the ends with tapes once the strings have passed through the straws
Il ne reste plus qu’a laisser l’enfant s’amuser a tirer sur les ficelles pour voir les doigts bouger… comme ses petits muscles pour bouger ses doigts./ What is left is to let the child have fun with it by pulling the strings to see the fingers move… just like his or her little muscles making fingers move.
